The Project:

A recap video of the team's 2024 NCAA Sioux Falls Regional
Shown to the team in the locker room prior to our departure for the 2024 NCAA Frozen Four

My Notes:

I took this project as my last official team video before I graduated, and given the stakes at hand I wanted to go for the most emotional, poignant hype song I could think of, so naturally LCD Soundsystem’s All My Friends was a perfect fit.
I hand-made every frame of the opening sequence using match cuts for the faces of previous BU hockey players and used Illustrator and Photoshop to create and animate the name cards.
As in all of our team highlight videos, I had to include hits, saves, and blocks, so naturally there is a drop-off in high quality footage in those moments. I was lucky to get great footage from BU Athletics, however, so I feel that I did the best with what I had.
