“BE ABOVE IT”

The Project:

• A recruiting video for top 2008 prospect Tynan Lawrence

• Sent to him and put up on the scoreboard at Agganis Arena during his official visit

My Notes:

• The concept here was to tap into the hockey world’s habit of researching any and all players through the database Elite Prospects. My thinking was to simulate somebody looking up past BU greats (Eichel, Zegras), seeing what they’ve done, and then feeding that directly to the prospect and a quick run through of his future.

• I used Photoshop and the inspect feature on Chrome to create hypothetical headlines of Tynan’s time at BU, such as being drafted by his favorite team, the Canadiens, and starring in the NHL.
